Mister Lattimer Explained
Tom Dylan said:

Lovely, Kevin. You paint the picture so well. A fine write. It reminded me of the Kinks, the way they used to hark back to a bygone era.

Mister Lattimer Explained
Tristan Robert Lange said:

Ah...a portrait of a gentleman who seems to, at this point, belong to a bygone era. In fact, I am not sure if it is that the gentleman is gone...or the era is gone...or both. I am supposing both, but there are always exceptions to the rule in terms of there being gentlemen; as for eras...well they they tend to be be very cyclical. I mean, who ever thought the 80s and cassette tapes would be things again? 🀣 Kevin, this poem’s gentle humor and nostalgia invites one (or at least it invited me) to reflect on the value of tradition in a rapidly and, sometimes, thoughtlessly changing world. Well done, my friend! πŸŒΉπŸ‘

A fine write, Kevin. As Oscar Wilde said, youth is wasted on the young.

As I first arrived at the doorstep of this poem I immediately thought; β€˜oh boy! Vikings and adventure!’ But beneath the humour, the poem carries a serious message about the importance of recycling and sustainability. Eric\'s life, though exaggerated, serves as a reminder of the potential to reduce waste and creatively repurpose items in our daily lives. Good going here πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•Š

A fascinating poem. I like the idea of writing a piece that you\'re not sure what it is about. Nicely done.

It seems to be exploring the very nature of purpose itself! Its meta-nature and playful self-critique add a unique layer of complexity and intrigue. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•ŠπŸ‘πŸ»

Now here is a poem that weaves together the themes of tenderness, strength, and the transcendent power of affection and depicting the multifaceted nature of love. A multi-dimensional gem Kevin πŸ™πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ•Š

Not read any of your postings thus far but I sure will from now on. This is one of the best pieces of light verse I\'ve read in quite a while. I\'m a lover of Hegley, Cooper Clark, Gough et al and this aint far short - great write.
