A wonderful write, I am not of understanding of all of it, which makes it more enjoyable to read as my slow thought process kicks into gear, a very enjoyable and interesting read

\"o i am but / a dotted / line\". Wow. 🤯 I have never heard it expressed this way, but this is the sort of existential line that just makes my mind explode and all of the thought juices flowing. A brilliant ending line to a brilliantly beautiful Odin-invoking poem. Brava! 🌹👏

I love this cryptic reference to the title and its implications the O in Odin, with reference to ravens, wise eyes (eye Odin had only one) eyes depicted as o\'s, coiled serpentine the ouroboros serpent swallowing its own tail in the shape of an o. A fave

Wonderful and profoundly deep. The short, brief lines almost give the poem a fragmented feel, like thoughts coming in one\'s head while riding the train. Again, great job, R. 🌹👏

What seem at first to be non related bits and pieces come together in a chain of thought as one reads it over and over. Are not all our thoughts like this at times. A dead man\'s newspaper are we not all dead men just walking toward that destination? A most thought provoking read.

This is quite lyrical/musical and feels like a dance as one reads it. The imagery paints quite the scene. Well done on this, my friend! 🌹👏

So much hidden here. This indeed is a different world an inner world perhaps but with so much of this. Most lovely in its imagery and well developed, what appears disjointed is united here. The more one reads it the more meanings it takes on

We really do destroy nature, do we not? And, we destroy our own nature and identity in doing so. A most beautiful poem that speaks in equal measure beauty and urgency. Well done! 🌹👏

The vary wording and metaphors in this write make it most intriguing and as one reads on it has more and more hooks that take one to a faintly remembered place of origin. Lovely

A well written piece. I felt at one with nature. I see the circle of life and the connections to it that come back around to us. Thank you for sharing.

Love this. A beautiful poem rich in imagery in and metaphor. Well done, my friend! This was masterful, as Soren rightly wrote, and rather than repeat what he wrote, I will simply say. Brava! An obvious fave from me as well. 🌹👏

A beautiful work this poem uses vivid and identifiable imagery to paint a picture in the mind of the reader and then takes that image in such poetic form to sprout a feeling of compassion for what we normally ignore. There are several beautiful lines in this poem my favorite are the last two stanzas
staples stacked lavished leathery scent
from each bovine hide scarlet dried
blood songs are sung
through roughed vales

meandering green pastures
ethereally we still graze

There is a wonderful metaphor here as well that I need not go into but is reflected in that mirror mentioned in the poem. This is a masterpiece of work and is a fave without saying

The use of variegated alliteration in this poem pulls the reader along. Unexpected associations dot the landscape and paint a Salvador Dahil like painting. Nicely done

Like sparks off a fire brief flashes glow and then extinguish into darkness in this poem. These images pass yet there remains a light that glows. Lovely and warming. Particularly like the last stanza.
