If only we\'d been friends;
Tristan Robert Lange said:
Sylva, what a heartfelt piece. I love that this isn\'t about grand adventures as much as it is about finding someone with whom even the smallest moments become meaningful. By the end, the repeated wish, \"If only we\'d been friends,\" carries a quiet ache that lingers long after the poem ends. Beautifully done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

It is the last line that makes this poem a recognition of one\'s own faults and admission. It is a twist that is abrupt and turns the poem on its head. Very nicely done a fave

Sylva, this really moved me. There is something so relatable about lying awake while the mind wanders through memories, fears, questions, dreams, and possibilities. The journey from the middle of the night to sunrise feels beautifully human. Wonderful write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️

This poem takes pieces of a puzzle and puts them together into a whole at the end. There is reassurance and that is the strongest part of the poem leaving it on a positive note. Well written Sylva

Here duality takes precedence in its paradox where we want and fear the same thing. A lovely write where it is in this opposition that there is resolution.

Sylva, this hit hard, my friend. There is a raw vulnerability here that many people will recognize, whether they admit it or not. The feelings of comparison, frustration, and invisibility come through with real emotional force. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

A wonderful poem that describes the world as one of competition where winner takes all. It is stark and hard it is blaming loss on laziness, a form of self blame It seems so in democracy, capitalism, school, jobs, finding a partner, yet there are scavengers that take advantage of the leavings they too with their pecking order. Here I go too far beyond the scope of the poem. It is well rhymed and flows well. Very nicely written leaving a hopeless felling.

Opposites to enhance noticing their opposite. Very nicely written it juxtaposes such dualities and thereby asks if one can exist without the other or if one must experience one to feel the other. Well done

We all tend to wish after the fact of doing or saying something.
This is why I get gagged when I\'m out, cos I always say the wrong thing which I think is funny, but nobody else does.

Words cannot express how deeply, word for word, you have described my everyday life over the past four years. How i felt this, was truly heartfelt and understood. I can offer a little piece of advice from my own experience in this same emotion...keep your head up. Stay grounded. Do not stop. Keep going. If it comes, let it, if it goes, let it. And hold the faith... Your dreams are not just a dream. They are undefined goals. Define them. And then Just Do It....idk you. But I know you got this..thank u for these beautiful words friend. #BeTru2U
