Both memories and insights share as fruits and thorns of a long term relationship, a number of which call up some memories of my own.
Thanks for that.

First Poem to achieve a negative score on the Pritchard Scale

Love the title that I doubt very much applies. A fanciful read that may well be metaphoric. Nicely done

Will You?
A.N. said:

Beautiful. I love that yours has more of a love sense; I feel like I get more love from yours. A great write!
And yes, they are similar. I didn\'t even know about this poem of yours. Thank you for letting me know about it. I will definitely be revisiting it.

Revenge is my name
sorenbarrett said:

The sense of revenge and sweet retribution for wrongs is felt in this write. It speaks of an eye for an eye in other words and the proverbial statement that revenge is a plate best served cold.

A Father’s Love

A father\'s role not an easy one where he must be as firm as the oak, bend like a willow, and as tender as the down on a milkweed. A lovely write

Only Children Dream
sorenbarrett said:

Dreams are for children indeed and my inner child has them regularly. A good read that is cynical about people and rightly so. Well done

Diary of a Mad Man
sorenbarrett said:

Insanity defined as departure from reality but what is reality do we know. Another definition might be to be out of the norm of thought but if the norm is departed from reality would it not be better to be insane seeing things more clearly than the mass\'. A most interesting poem where one is never free in thought it being influenced by what is defined as normal and what one feels as comfort. Well done

Lost in Search of a Saved Child
sorenbarrett said:

In this soliloquy there is much I can identify with. Age takes a toll on our perspective and fogs the back of that glass of that mirror but polishes the reflective front. We may see ourselves well but can not see through. A wonderful read and a fave
