I suspect there is more to this, but on first reading I strongly pictured the sword and sorcery films of the 1980s, and that made me very happy. Nice poem!

Neither youth nor old age, will bring full wisdom-(it) rots on twisted vines …I gathered the impermanence of it all, from your well versed poem-great read, as usual…

That last stanza is eerily exact. And for sure it does reclaim but I propose that w proper vigor and commitment you can use and wear diem every ounce of your youth all by yourself. The Reaper gets what’s left but when my youth provided me options I danced with all to squeeze out the PRIVLEGE I always like your stuff and your angular view.

A seamless flow to this well penned write, all due to the rhyme scheme, but the imagery brings clarity and understanding of \"her\" losing light and life.
