Closing The Circle (+1)
L. B. Mek said:

this is why, I hate reading my own work
decades later, and there will still be
a syllable
out of place or a coma, whose very existence
is so intrudingly loud..
best, maybe
to just glimpse over them, from time to time
let them remind us
of the who, we were
when we inked those words
or the what, we were going through
that inspired those rhymes;
everything else
is lost, to that very moment
we inked that last alphabet;
this
be the bane, of all creativity
(in my humble opinion)

Motion Speaks
L. B. Mek said:

until Kizomba
sways its way, daringly
insuring, with its very entry
all the other dances, blush
\'Dancing on the fringes\'
lol
(a fun and thought provoking read)

Calling My Name
L. B. Mek said:

longing
makes for a cruel, serenade
its echoes, echo
with every step we take...
(so well written, like a prelude chapter
in a character driven novel
made me empathise within the firsts stanza
such a lovely read, thank you!)

Symphonic Triage
L. B. Mek said:

\'Some of us were meant to age
of those I am not one
To grace a rocker on the porch
death by zero-sum\'
(me neither, dear Poet
I draw breath upon embers
that barely flicker...)

Reaching For The Cream (+1)
L. B. Mek said:

what a fantastic read
so much hidden in that aesthetic flow
this is such a bravely intimate
page of poetry!
thank you! for choosing to share
dear Poet
(I read and learn)

Fated Vision
L. B. Mek said:

so acutely, Brilliant!
(to survive, somewhat sane
we must surrender, control
and let our choices, curate
that blank canvas of fate
upon its pages
of pre-outlined, destinies...)

Respite, retreat from the encumbrances of life. Sometimes we just need a little R & R. Love the way you have phrased this!

And They Leave Us Alone...
L. B. Mek said:

Brilliant!
dear Poet
forgive me, i couldn\'t help
but try and scribble a little
poetic reply..
(Praying Mantis
in words and deeds, but
each of them swears, they
were born as angels
which unveils the question
is it their life\'s
tall green, horizons
that curates magnetic attraction, in-to
retrospective beginnings, to devastation..
funny
through it all, victims
seem to simply, be grateful
for the relief, like
surrendering to that inevitability
of cyclicality\'s, addictively vicious
cruelty..)

First & Last
L. B. Mek said:

we, lament its absence
then squirm, under its gaze
love\'s, light
we forget, makes-up
those shadows that form
our regrets...
still
we, be creatures of vitamin D!
(a great shorty! dear Poet)
as-ever
I read and gratefully
learn

Alone In The Wilderness
L. B. Mek said:

(yet again, your words
have helped to inspire me
to ink words, that surpass
my feeble levels..
thank you! dear Poet)
\'the only problem with theology
was in its insistence
that for one to be true, the other
must be false, hence
all that war and hate..
modernity, now free
of theology\'s chains
Chooses, to assign those same
divisively tragic, mindsets
to politics
to polarising identity extremism
to warped activism
and on...
makes you think
if cyclical
be humanity\'s patterns of self-devastation
and so blatantly obvious to even
fools like me
why do, those that curate
the status quo
choose, to maintain such
destructive elements
at the core foundations
of our societal make-up
surely
it can\'t be, as basic and archaic
as that whole
\'divide and conquer
segregate to subjugate\'
methods of tyrannical, rule
right...
right?
yeah, Right!
