JC - a new type of politician never before known in modern times - I can see how he may have inspired these superb words put together with passion and feeling. An inspired piece of writing.

Beautiful writing. Sometimes we do the best work when we feel that there is nothing left. I have to admit that I am a very lucky guy. I did have my ups and downs, but nothing serious. And as far as writing is concerned, I feel the same way as many of you. The words just appear somehow begging to be put on paper. It may be good, bad, or ugly, but I don\'t care, I just wanna write.

Isn\'t it awesome how at times the words just present themselves! I know of what you speak ... it has, on occasion, been my experience as well Good write, P.H.!

Good write, strangely I have just written a poem about baking which I will put on tomorrow, that too uses love as a main ingredient.

After reading your very imaginative and funny poem this is what popped into my mind:
They way you make your bed
That\'s the way you sleep.
The way you bake your life
That\'s the way you eat.
Happy baking!!!!

Good write. I think we all wonder what these elderly houses have seen and the tales that they could tell.

I like it, well written. Following your poems Grandmother and Grandfather, maybe this one could have been titled \"Great Grandfather\" :-)

Grandfather Green...
FredPeyer said:
Just read Grandfather Green as you recommended. Never thought of trees as \"Grandfathers\", but it fits really well. Now you got me into a quarry, don\'t know if I like Grandfather or Grandmother better, they are both so good. Also made me think about the huge stately Banyan trees we have here in Hawaii. A native of India, the first Banyan tree in Hawaii was planted in Lahaina (Maui) in 1873. It is now over 40 feet tall with a canopy of about a quarter mile. More like a great great grandfather I guess!
