Some of the most amazing oak trees in the world are (or were pre Katrina) in New Orleans . Massive trees four to six hundred years old .The bottom branches stretch out more than fifty feet and are as massive as most tree trunks . I used to walk among these gentle giants and felt a closeness that is impossible to explain . Your poem brings back beautiful memories .

Very beautifully penned poem is shared here. You pass through and grandfather with much affection watches through glass. To watch over, the next child throng, he eagerly waits and plans. Amazing poem is shared really.

I often feel the same way about my biological mom who died when I was 6 months old. She taught foreign languages. Would my lif have been richer. Would I have felt love? Would I not have been so screwed up the first 55 years of my life?

My Battle with my mental health
Poetic Dan said:

... You\'ve left me nearly unable to write.
Only thing I can offer is my writing I post,

If we are all one
The demons we fight
No matter if age
Will one day
Take flight

If not, we can
Leave our children
Without the ones we do.

Hope that makes sense, thanks for your write.

Seems like it is so scary you are holding back a bit, from unleashing that anger. Hope it helps to write. Medication can help if you find the right doctor hugs.

When Rodents Roam...

Love it when ideas come like that, the sound of a car and the dog bark registered in that creative side of your brain and voila, the car and dog appear in a creative piece. Think of the journey, outside your home, to your brain and now on paper, saying nothing of the rats. Don\'t forget to set out traps tonight. Great write.

You verse their activities so well here P.H. - I once read that rats are the world\'s most successful animal and no wonder when bins are so full of throw-away waste.

I love the appreciation of nature to love it,so much as to be inspired to write. Seeds grow only on fertile soil. Just as the plant grew in the terrace it grew in the garden of your mind.
