Good old nonsense poem
Michael Edwards said:
You\'ve made my day saying you love the work of SM - I fear he is so under-rated. And I love this bit of nonsense - wish there was more light verse here on MPS - it does get very gloomy at times.

Regrettably and historically, the utopian ideology of socialism and communism has never worked - having caused over 100 million deaths, worldwide. Empirically documented in this riveting study: https://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/MURDER.HTM
Conversely, the social teachings of the Catholic Church (also well documented) have had an enormously successful impact on the well being, freedom, and advancement of people the world over. Your heart yearns for the best in all of us that we were indeed created for!

I call it love, they call it living in sin
Goldfinch60 said:
Jooles love overrides all things and if people do not like the way you or any of us are living our lives it is not your problem, it is theirs.
I go to Church and I am married but would never question anybody else\'s relationship, we have many friends who are together but not married, our son and one of our daughters being two of them and they are wonderful. Love is certainly NOT a sin.

How people chose to live their lives is entirely up to them - bizarre beliefs and opinions whether religious or otherwise are up to them as long as they live in respect of everyone else. There\'s room for us all on this planet (well at the moment :) ) Enjoyed the read.
