Taking Liberty here:

What you desire, is yours, absolutely
But remember, not to tax it too dearly
Life n events, as you said, r transient
But only if you don\'t play it to the end

RESEARCH IN THE RAINFOREST ~ A PANTOUM ~ ANGELA & BRIAN
ANGELA & BRIAN said:

THANKS UNCLE ANDY ~ The problem arose when we ceased to be HUNTER GATHERERS and became HOMO URBANUS and were no longer part of the FOOD CHAIN ! Commercialism & Technology resulted ina SYSTEM where MAN was both exploiting and polluting the ENVIRONMENT of the Whole Earth. The majority of People are unaware of the GLOBAL impact of their day to day activities ~ and that by 2100 many parts of Planet Earth could be uninhabitable due to Global Warming ~ Sea level rise etc ! The GAIA states that PLANET EARTH is a living equilibrium system. When that EQUILIBRIUM is disturbed (by increased Atmospheric CO2 etc) It responds by increased temperature ~ typhoons ~ hurricanes ~ melting icecaps etc. Ultimately (2500 ?) the Earth will be uninhabitable for H Sapiens ~ AND ~ there is nowhere else in the SOLAR SYSTEM or the MILKY WAY to GO ! Ive been preacing this for the last 15 years (since I was 20) ~ We are only just beginning to wake up and face the FACTS ! Thanks for your comment !
Blessings & Peace to YOU & JOYCE

RESEARCH IN THE RAINFOREST ~ A PANTOUM ~ ANGELA & BRIAN

Did the forest need to be visited? Did the insects need to be recorded? If the answer is yes so that we could record their demise as mankind ruins the planet then thousands of dollars were spent in madness - yet again.
Thousands of dollars would have been better spent leaving all alone and concentrating on stopping mankind from interfering with the overall environment.

TEA ~ WORLDS FAVOURITE DRINK ~ ANGELA & BRIAN

THANKS UNCLE ANDY ~ AN interesting and very decisive comment. Leaf tea is much superior to tea bags of floor sweepings ! But you do need a TEA STRAINER (it has been ommited from modern Wedding Lists) My MUM brought me up proper (see UK Tea Ceremony !). Rwuanda Burundi has a nice sound ~ sounds like an OPERA. The length of Brew is important and tea should never be left to STEW ~ thats when gthe bitter principle leach out, 5 mins brewing max ! Pleased you enjoyed the MANTRA !
BLESSINGS and good RB Brew for Joyce & You !

TEA ~ WORLDS FAVOURITE DRINK ~ ANGELA & BRIAN
Goldfinch60 said:

We drink leaf tea, we used to drink Kenya Tea until many years ago the guy in the shop said try this one, it was Rwanda Burundi tea, we have been drinking that for almost twenty years now. It is a good strong tea and the stronger you make it the better it tastes, it does not go bitter as some teas do.

COFFEE A LA MODE ~ A Sonnet in Internal Rhyme ~ ANGELA & BRIAN
Michael Edwards said:

I\'m afraid I\'m not a lover of the various coffees served in modern coffee houses - I much prefer the only proper way to serve coffee - in a cafetiere (natural infusion - not forced through a machine) - unadulterated with the full flavour of the original bean. Talking of beans I do like the true mocha coffee - from Lebanon - a variety of the arabica bean. I avoid places like Costas - go in and ask what coffees they have and all they know are the methods of preparation - they haven\'t a clue where the beans come from or what variety they are. Anyway a fine write and sorry for the late comment.

Thanks MOORDY ~ The Poem is essentially about the different styles of serving Coffee in the CUP ! It focuses on the ratio *Coffee disolved in water* to added water ~ milk ~ cream ~ ice cream etc. The initial *Coffee dissolved in water* can of course come from ~ a little packet ~ a jar ~ a bottle (CAMP) ~ beans (ground) or grains etc. Hope thats clear !
Blessings & Peace

Mmmmm, another piece about coffee. I usually drink mine black. However, sometimes I\'ll have a white chocolate mocha. My favorite coffee comes from Colombia, Ethiopia, and Kenya.

CHOCOLATE AN ACROSTIC ~ ANGELA & BRIAN
Goldfinch60 said:

We all enjoy chocolate in all its forms but I am afraid I need my caffeine so it is coffee every time at the moment and in the coffee bar Joyce and I go to they have guest coffees for about three months at a time and the one they have just introduced is Colombian coffee which is my favourite and the one whose beans I buy for home.

THANKS UNCLE STEVE ~ Pleased you enjoyed it ! There two key factore that make Poetry ~ Presentable ~ Readable & Recitable ! On is RHYME (which has always been an aid to remembering Poetry ~ especially in the oral tradition ~ which you must remember ! S uch as *Tales of the Norseland by Noggin the Nog* This is why they were called NURSERY RHYMES ~ Baa Baa Black Sheep etc ! The other is Rhyhm & Metre which give a Poem Rhythm & Flow. In the above case which is BLANK VERSE (Rhythm but not Rhyme) each line has ten syllables which (to my mind) makes it both easy to read & recite. Many so called poems on MPS lack both Rhyme & Rhythm and therefore should be classified as PROSE ~ Here endeth the First Lesson ~ OK
