I have had all sorts of tests, x rays, ct scans and mri scans. With one of the mri scans they gave me a cd with the scan on to take to the specialist, I took a copy of it and I can now prove that I have a brain!

PORTRAITS OF AUTUMN : ANGELA : A QUARENTA*
Suresh said:

Yes those are the attributes of Autumn, plus a feeling of calm and serenity, when one is soaking in the warmth of the afternoon sun, draped in a shawl, on a chilly day.

On this, from my poem \"SEASONS\"

Seasons

Seasons in life
Seasons in health
Seasons in nature
Seasons in wealth

Birth in spring
Growth in summer
Maturity in fall
Regeneration in winter

Maturity of autumn
Time for the harvest
The fruits of knowledge
Of all that is attained
To share the wisdom, of
Birth and growth
To the many generations in tow
To feel proud of living

Thnx for taking me there

Much as I love Autumn it is still the precursor to winter - so for me it\'s always spring with all its promise. That aside I also love the colours and this form as well - great work Angela.

Good write Angela showing an obvious love for TIGGA. I have commented often about cats on this site so I will say no more, I would never hurt them but they may get wet if they come into our garden. We feed the birds so cats are a no,no.

Mia Cara Amica Angela,

Una bella poesia accompagnata con le foto!
The first photo of the young lady with the cat reminds me of my daughter ( she actually looks like my daughter) and her cat ā€œPrince Harryā€! Obviously you can see why she gave him that name! I like to call him ā€œOrange Marmaladeā€!

ā€œCatsā€...the Broadway musical...was one of the best!

Thanks for a very full comment \"OUT\" the things you cite acctually happened. You can go to Hawaii and see the USS ARIZONA under the water in Pearl Harbour and travel to Hiroshima & Nagasaki and see the havoc wrought by the only two ATOM BOMBS the USA had ~ BUT it ended the War in the Pacific. Thousands of Japanese Civilian Lives were lost but thousands of JAPANESE & USA Soldiers lives were saved. These catastrophies we call ANTHROPOGENIC = MAN MADE ! Its the smae with Global Warming ~ it is NOT a natural cycle ~ rise in CO2 levels in the ATMOSPHERE is due to DEFORESTATION (Forests absorb CO2 and produce OXYGEN) and burning Fossil Fuels absorb OXYGEN and produce CO2 ! Because Kentucky voted for Mister Trump ~ he has reopened the Coal Mines and that coal is being used to produce Electricity instead of Nuclear which is clean.
Global warming has already caused the Ambient Global Temperature to rise from 15 ~ 16C ~ Ice caps to melt and sea huricanes & storms to be more intence ~ causing Worldwide Global Erosion ~ OK ~ Its all MAN MADE ! We could reverse it but People in the Affluent Countries do not want to give up their Hi-tech ~ Electricity & Fuel demanding life style ~ OK
Thanks for your comments much FUEL for THOUGHT !
Yours BRIAN & ANGELA !

Smokers - Ashtrays full of butts
Also - Empty bottles, and half full glasses
And - Snack wrappers decorated the floor
Youth was lived in different countries and many cities - order kept by gentle house keepers
Now even the sight of dust is annoying
POEM
The House, My Home

Itā€™s not the brick and mortar
Nor the painted walls
Not the many rooms
Decorations and all
It started with just the two of us
But that was not for long
The pitter patter of the little feet
Is what kept us strong
The giggles and the laughter
Just some of what we shared
The trials and tribulations
Proved that we cared
Itā€™s the memories of many decades
That makes - the house, a Home.

Make your house, your home too.

Thankfully both my wife and I are both minimalists and extremely tidy - everything is in its place and we repklace anything the old goes straight in the bin or a charity shop. Love the poem.
Oh and by the way when it was time for our children to go to bed we used to shout at them: \'Bedwards Edwards\' and they now say it their children.
