Have to agree with you Andy. My father used to say the same thing that all he ever hears on the news is how someone was murdered or about the ongoing wars. It was so hard for him to cheer up in his last years of life. Our world is too focused on the negativity and not enough for the positive things in life.

Friends and a place to gather, was the similarity, but all else was different, beer not the same, games were far different, music was usually a juke box, but the friendship was the reason we remember it fondly.
