It should be filmed this way Andy! Red coat easy target, brown pants easy burial. Don’t find that kind of courage these days; one that would go down with the ship.

Oh lol, good write Gold!
Was we there in person, us two? Did I muck it up, as in 1066?!
I think I did. I gave Nelson an eye patch for the eye he could see with. It went wrong from then on. Doh!

Finding Paradise.
Doggerel Dave said:

Please now hope it works for more than just you;
Otherwise you are chirping in a storm.
While the personal is political,
Paradise cannot ever be the norm.

Keep it up, Andy - you never know...mine is just one opinion....

I was in a dark place. I forgot to switch the light on and fell down the stairs (did I?)! lol.
Argghhh! ya hear me tumbling. Good acting by me, yes?!

The goodness of thought, word, and deed appear to be a foreshadowing of Paradise and perhaps by this our appetites are whetted!

Doggerel Dave said:

One twice plus two plus three plus five plus eight,
And then comes thirteen as you hold me there:
Your love expressed with Fibonacci’s great
Sequence, an avowal of your affair.

Doggerel Dave said:

Oh what a scene of sheer delight
A moment cherished for us all:
Holdfast this image, it is right
To hold it clear before the pall.

Enjoy for as long as you can Andy..... and maybe what is comming won\'t worry either of us.....🙂

A positive view that lifts the spirit and gives hope in a world so full of things to bemoan. I liked the inner dimension, not only looking back forward and the present but inward.

Times are tough just now and the world faces difficult times ahead. In years to come, these will be the memories imprinted on the young generation just now. They\'ll get through it, cos that\'s what humans do.

Doggerel Dave said:

Reality is a function of size,
Also limitations of our senses;
But my perception should be no surprise -
Vision must be clear, free of pretences.

Abject apologies, Andy, you cornered me – right now my cognitive apparatus admits of not much hope...... Tho’ I’ll be gone…….. 😃

Smoke No More.
Neville said:

Congratulations and well done GF60 .. that is no mean feat .. I also gave up nicotine about 20 years ago .. it was one of the hardest things to let go of ..

maybe as a matter of interest, I used to be able to get almost anyone that wanted to get off heroin in about 3 or 4 days by prescribing clean and safe opiate substitutes .. alcohol maybe in around 10 days or so .. but nicotine .. was another matter altogether .................... Neville

Smoke No More.
Doggerel Dave said:

I’d sit up front on a double decker
And smoke a foul Spanish from my girlfriend;
Man behind said ‘’I feel like a kipper’’
Them were the days, now my cough knows no end.

All true: I gave up in 1987 after twenty years and feel lucky to still be around…..

Smoke No More.
orchidee said:

I gave it up without starting. Well, I tried me first and last ciggy at about age 11 and it choked me!
It\'s terrible how many are affected by it. On medical progs, they say \'If only I had not smoked....\'
We don\'t see it some much now, except, e.g. staff having fags outside during breaks. I hated it when it was allowed on buses. I think it was only upstairs, but downstairs was often full by the time the bus got to my stop.
