Who\'s Fred? Oh,I get it lol π I remember in my grief for the loss of my mom, thinking how great it would be to loose my memory,..no memory,no pain. What a foolish thought,so foolish in fact I feel a little ashamed for having it,..and just plain stupid. My name? You can call me anything you want, just don\'t call me late for dinner πβπ

Lovely romantic epic of a poem sir!
I wish it was me in my younger days. A romantic at heart but..... somehow circumstance worked against me.

It is terrifying sometimes to not remember what we were going to do or going to say; the person is so recognisable but the name is on the tip of the tongue but just won\'t come out. Very relatable poem. I\'ve been reading about techniques to try and improve memory. Now what was the 1st step again?! Thank you.

Well, I\'m not recommending it but, for memory altering/loss try a few cycles of chemotherapy and see what happens to it. It certainly robbed me of a lot of stuff. People recount me doing things of which I have absolutely no memory at all.

Strangely enough, it was pretty warm today. A little glimpse of flower, does that mean winter is over. Is spring springing, or am I getting ahead of myself.

A nice bright and cheery piece here Andy.
I too cannot wait for the warmer seasons to come, where the visual floral symphonies make their welcome return.
Bravo, and I hope that all is well!

yeah, noticing a few hyperactive
early buds, of green
on a few trees, barren branches
\'not long left, now
till bright colours of Nature
help to introduce, warmth
back into the grey
of our everyday routines\'
(thanks Andy, just that spoonful of hopeful
I needed, to lift the fog
from this dreary winter\'s Monday morning)

The bird of time has but a little ways to flutter,...and bird is on the wing.\"- Bird,1988. Directed by Clint Eastwood, starring Forrest Whittaker in the lead role. Great work here Andy p.s.,just remembered one,\"Music can be a healer.\"-John Lee Hooker.π»βοΈπ

I love all kinds of music too including jazz. But I can only play simple songs on the guitar, also self taught during the covid lockdown. One day jazz maybe. Enjoyed reading this poem.

According to Thelonius Monk a bum note was an adventure because it took you to improvisation places you would not have otherwise considered/explored. As an ad libber i most definitely agree with him.
Well, you know I\'m a lover of a lot of jazz, modern jazz that is, and I\'ve dipped my toe into most of the names..... but i do have a love of 50\'s mainstream post bebop jazz from across the water.
Good to see poetry about jazz here on mps.
