A great write to return to and I agree with the sentiments - he who never places one foot in front of the other has no place to go.

It\'s about conditioning and a certain kind of narrow mindedness. Now nobody would justifiably accuse you or me of being narrow minded. Part of positivity is seeing opportunity and following a path to realise it.
However it also has to be said that some are also held back by guilt. The guilt of survival and a underlying fear that they must be seen to be being respectful in mourning ... mourning for the rest of their life?
Perhaps they need to be asked how guilty they feel for letting their departed\'s spirit see them so lacklustre? Do they honestly believe their departed would not like to see them doing things which brought happiness?
Just last week i had this conversation with a bereaved customer of mine who has much to offer but locks himself away. I\'m hoping my words will stir him into action and i shall be following it up.

I truly agree that opening doors need to be walked through and am sure this message will help your friend. Good points made in your poem dear Andy.

I know the feeling, but I\'m sure that your friend, or anyone else, wouldn\'t be letting others down. Unless they were doing it from entirely selfish motives. But they will have thought of others, so they won\'t be selfish and uncaring.
Can you help? Should I move forward, and make the decision - move to the desert to continue singing? Or to Pluto?!

Positivity. You either have it or you don\'t (though i do try to encourage it in all).
Even in those times when you are down and troubles and pain bear down upon you and overcome your normal demeanor, perhaps reducing you to tears. The positive spirit which is a strength in your character will rise up and overcome.
Mr Goldfinch is a shining example of this.

ANGELA HERE (Enjoying Saturday !) Coffee Morning @ Church Later with BRIAN. Love the Harp we have Welsh Friends who are very competant Harpists - The Sound of Paradise ! At Welsh Weddings we have a gentle Harp Recital throughout the Breakfast - Awsome !
A strange thing about the Sounds of Nature. To BRIAN & I (who have a musicians ear) they are always harmonius ~ Natures Tuning. When we take out Youth Group (11 - 18) on Nature Walks or Camping we forbid the use of Stereo Headphones so they can listen to the *Natural Noises of the Day & Night* Thanks for sharing a Lovely Poem - AMEN !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

The Croquet Myth.
ANGELA & BRIAN said:

GUTEN ABEND ~ Uncle Andy ! We love the VIDEO ! The Moonlight is the only classical piece I mastered on the Piano & Angela adores Elephants ~ she attracts them as much as they attract her. One of her Christmas Presents was spending a Day (in May) with the Elephants in a local ZOO !
CROQUET sure has got under You Mac. Playing in the rain gives it an added Dimension ~ like Golf in the rain ! We have a Monthly Mens Breakfast @ Church (more popular than the Prayer Meeting !) One of the *apres petit dejeuner* activities is CROQUET al fresco ! We do pay in advance (ยฃ5) So we play in the RAIN or lose our fiver ! The rain does slow the ball and hampers the progress of those 75+ ~ BUT we do laff a lot more in the Rain ~ which is good for the Soul !

Blessing & Peace to You & Yours

Aqua croquet, the underwater version.... not a game to be snorkelled at!
Mentally re-writing your piece, wet suit on, flippers a-foot, weight belts donned, face mask jauntily cocked atop your head as you struggle into the heavy scuba gear.

And you\'re complaining about a spot or two of rain?

P.S. glad you\'ve still got yer legs from yesterday.
