Valencian episode

A gem of a read Luke - the flow drew me into the local festivities and the metre started my feet tapping at that \"drink-drenched\" Valencian Wedding.

He can\'t convince you of anything. I struggle like this person. I felt something too familiar when I read it. Thank you

\"Difficulties\" are to be expected, are quite natural and human but unfortunately, are often incorrectly labeled as \"doubts.\"

Good write. It is so, often just for the \'fix\' of a \'good\' or \'high\' feeling. Then that goes, and another fix is needed. Some try it just to dabble, but then are hooked on it.

The last two verses, so true of modern generation. Excellent reflection and definitely thought-provoking.

Fabulous stuff! Simply explanatory, bringing you in to the subject & thought provoking. My kind of style.

A great write and somewhat enigmatic - I\'ve never used the language you do and doubt if I ever will but have no problems with it so no worries there.

WELCOME LUKE ~ Thanks for your first poem (on MPS) well structured and replete with rhyme and rhythm ~ the hallmarks of a good recitable poem. The theme and linguistic content is also excellent. It is true ~ as you say ~ \"That mighty Oaks from little Acorns grow\" But its not just the DNA in the acorn that makes the oak ! It is the nutrients in the soil ~ it is the water in the rain ~ it is the heat and radiation from the sun ~ also the (oft castigated) carbon dioxide in the atmosphere without which there would be no photosynthesis and no growth. Beauty (the acorn & the oak) working in harmony with that which is less beautiful ~ soil ~ water ~ worms ~ soil bacteria ~ NPK ~ nitrogen ~ phosphorus ~ potassium and CO2 ~ awesome ! Thanks for caring and sharing ~ BRIAN (UK) Please check my odes ~ Thanks B.
