You are quite adept at turning the informal into poetry! What appears to be light and simple ends up being intense and stunning. And the epithets you chose are so apt... we all recall that verbal acid being thrown in our faces... fag, retard, wierdo, punk, and those we cannot even say or write without them hurting still. You are a good soul. So much self-care and universal love in a few words.

Thank you WriteBeLight. I certainly wouldn\'t want the nadir of my life to be recorded and put on national TV, but when that lady yelled out, \"Shut your mouth when you talk.\" I could relate. 🙂

Charming but not Sincere
Jane Frye said:

No, really...just a poem! Okay, maybe a little bit true. 😀 This reminds me of Mark Twain\'s funny comment, \"I have known a great many troubles in my life, but most of them never happened.\"

Very playful, and very observant. OK, just a poem... yeah like we believe that!

One must watch at least one to understand why one avoids them. Like social media, they give the addicted viewer a distorted sense of our everyday lives... I hope. I always read the poem BEFORE the author\'s comment. So this was way funny at first then horrifying, then a relief. I\'d like you to review all the shows I don\'t watch. Naked and Afraid, The Bachelor, Fox News...

thank you dear poet
such a fun read
you showcase lovely dialogue, and characterisation skills
have you tried scribbling a short story or two?

Then if you watch them all, your mind would really fill up then....Become very maggoty. It is a source of wonder at the mentality of those people who wish to participate in such shows.
A write which painted the picture.....

I\'m sorry for your loss, dear poet
this reads a most sincere

Foolishly Yours
StarGazingWanderer said:

What you have to offer is precious. You stayed true to yourself and your promises. You chose to believe the best in others and be courageous to trust and love. Most people give up and never love again but then they\'d miss out on the most beautiful experience in the world. Your mind is a beautiful place. Keep going! :)

Burnout
L. B. Mek said:

an Artisan\'s plight: within Modernity\'s, reality
how sobering
your insightful commentary, captures
struggles of those, integrity impassioned
with fervent intent, to actualise
their hopes and dreams
but finding their path\'s: forever blockaded
by society\'s crude mechanisms
of bottom line profiteering, ideology
and glutinous greed\'s, narcistic sycophancy...
(A profound write, dear poet)

Thank you, Angela. The funny thing is, I wrote this poem this morning after reading a reply someone left for someone else\'s poem. In the reply the person referred to you and Brian as A&B, and I thought that was cute. So that is how the idea for this story came about. Stay sane. :-)
