Jane,

Perhaps he was ‘misjudged’ and/or ‘misplaced’...
but he will never be ‘completely erased’!
Like a Phoenix, he will rise once again from its ashes!

Nice, Jane. I have six grand-kids and they are all angels while they are sleeping. Not so much when awake. But I love them anyway! :-)

A Father\'s Day Adventure
Jane Frye said:

Thank you for reading to the end. I knew when I was writing this that some would give up on me before reaching the end of the poem. But, I had fun writing it, and I learned all about the post office. The best part of life is that there is always something new to learn, even if it is just how the post office in my town works.

The Wedding
Jane Frye said:

Wow! Thank you Spinner. I used a book called \"Secret Meanings of Flowers\" by Brenda Jenkins Kleager. It is a book I keep in my library for reference. Great book to keep on hand if you like to write. Another valuable book for any writer is \"The Elements of Eloquence, Secrets of the Perfect Turn of Phrase\". You can download it on Audible. Well, write on!

The Wedding
Jane Frye said:

Thank you for reading my prose, and taking the time to comment. I too, enjoyed the recent Royal Wedding. Beautiful and glad it was televised. I wrote my prose for the wedding of my daughter and her husband. I looked up the symbolism for each flower, as well as where they grow, so that I found what I thought, was the perfect flower for each stanza. It was fun to write, and I learned a lot about flower symbolism.

I love a good wedding. I certainly enjoyed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their beautiful wedding.

Nonna, Me, and Time
Jane Frye said:

Thank you so much. Remembering my nonna made me cry too. She was the neatest adult in my life when I was a child. I never got to know her as an adult, I only knew her through a child\'s eyes.

The Bee and Me
Jhe said:

oh i do think they\'re amazing
but every time one gets in
my home, the only thing
on my mind is its sting

...of course i
open the windows
shut the door and wait
for it to find its own way
(care of flowing fresh air)
back to the flowers again!
