Alex, you are living higher physics here, containing space/time.
Great poem, are you following in the footsteps of Einstein?

Acid rain
FredPeyer said:

Alex, this is really well written. I do like the choice of \'acid rain\' to represent pain and maybe disaster. That is very imaginative and original. And to bring \'grace\' into it is a stroke of genius. It shows the inner strength to overcome that pain.
Great poem!

I think the way santita sums this up is just right. Lot of us carry pains around making the best of life. Really nice writing. Please comment on my stuff.

I feel sympathy for whom the poem is about, though sad, it is written delicately and I like the contrast in the language. Soft vs hard...acid/rain, pain/grace

This is awesome writing, a-pott. While the last one (Golden grey silence) was more difficult for me to understand, this one is easier to read, flows well. Every line has meaning, love the Humanity and simplicity combination, and like how you end it. Life and love is built on \'little things\'. It is the little things that make us love another one or that drive us crazy.

The picture is awesome, kind of scary though.
The poem seems to tell me that even though we may lose somebody, we always have the memories.
How far off the mark am I?
I do like the writing, but am maybe a little bit too dense to understand the underlying meaning.

I am challenged to wonder how come you write so well at such a young age!
Well I guess I am like that old dog who can still learn some tricks :-)

Another great poem!
What you say is true, but you are now also in the other person\'s space. The question is whether or not you are giving up more than you gain.

We kill, we maim, we change, without any regard, but every once in a while nature does come back to teach us a lesson.

Somehow missed your poems but realized after reading your latest one from August 30th that I should read all of them. Am not disappointed. This one is good too!

Say Something Nice
FredPeyer said:

I will say something nice: YOUR POEM IS OUTSTANDING!
Short, to the point, true, no fancy language. You definitely deserve it. In these few lines you perfectly captured one of the tenets of the human condition, the need to be accepted and acknowledged for who we are.
Definitely a favorite, and going up on my wall of great poems.

Join the club. There has to be a better way for us to occupy our beautiful planet than out continual rape. I have no answers, but i do call out for change as you do here. I recently wrote something similar.
Your writing is good and thought provoking.
