When an End Is a Beginning

Very sweet...short 'n' sweet! This is very nice. I like the similes you used in describing it all. Your rhyming is pleasant. I quite like this!

Vulnerability
Cheeky Missy said:

I like it.
Only problem is that presently real life mocks it, for all our trees so vibrantly yellow and etc. are now bare of the leaves....it is as if to say, No, it cannot be.
But the comparison of people to leaves is excellent, for it is just like what the Lord says, ..."we all do fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind have carried us away...." and the Lord calls Himself to the true tree......
Just some thoughts.

Nice one Fran! I think we all have a conviction deficiency when it comes to love, It's an in-built safety device that stops us falling to hard or to soon for someone else, but the truth is our hearts ignore it and we 'fall' anyway!! Great poem.

Happiness, The Mystery
bernard franklin said:

A deeply poignant poem Fran, The mystery of happiness indeed, Is something we all aspire to but can't always find, it can be a deeply elusive state of mind and a great subject for a poem. Great work my friend.

Nice work fran, I agree we are all surrounded by stupidity sometimes. You have a charming and witty way of conveying your message, this poem flows smoothly and is both emotive and poignant. Just one small point on the last line did you mean relief and not relieve??. Keep-em-coming!!!

Tears
bernard franklin said:

Nice work Fran, tears are a great subject, they come into all our lives at some point. Personally i like to remember the tears of joy more than the tears of pain, ( not always easy to do though is it! )
