Well said. Your poem addresses existential themes of societal collapse, fate, and humanity\'s relationship with the universe.

The island vibes I got but IPAs don\'t hit the spot. Although I like my coffee bitter not my beer, it\'s a different critter. Too many hops spoil the brew I like it clear all the way through. A good write my friend

Raw and from the heart this write is a confession and a redemption all in one. An admission that no matter how bad things get they can always get better. Memories remain but pride over progress relegates them to the shadows. Nicely written a fave

This seems a metaphor I have picked up tortoises and turtles with shells split and nursed them back to health. A person split from past injury needs the same care. Well done

Cancer III
Friendship said:

This poem resonates deeply with me as I reflect on the courageous journey of my beloved husband, { Of 47 years who bravely battled cancer for two and a half years, enduring the relentless progression of the disease that slowly drained his life force; before his passing, after completing radiation and chemotherapy, he experienced a poignant moment when he was given the honor of ringing a bell, a symbol often associated with the end of treatment; his insightful words to me remain etched in my memory, \'it\'s a peculiar sensation when you\'re done with treatment and they\'re handing you a certificate, and they ask you to ring this bell, signifying that you\'re acknowledging your journey\'; these profound words have stayed with me, and I believe this poem captures that sentiment beautifully. Your poem revolves around the biological process of cell growth and the painful consequences of illness. It evokes feelings of helplessness and inevitability as it describes how these cells thrive on the host\'s resources, signifying the struggle between life and disease.

This poem seems to say that a false hope is better than no hope and I might agree with that in that all the really matters is happiness. A powerful statement
