All I can say is I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS...and felt it all the way through! One can\'t care without first learning the value of self-care! Beautifully written and expressed!

\'you can, only love yourself
as much
as you can forgive yourself\'
so maybe begin there
dear troubled soul
try to envisage
every experience, good or bad
as a thing, incident, failing
in and of itself
removed from any other
so don\'t pile them all up
as one immovable obstacle
remind yourself, you
are the first and only guaranteed
best friend, you can gift yourself
in life
so be kind to yourself
\'know thy self\'
and let that liberate, your heart
ease the tenacity
of your aches and bruises...
stay strong!
thanks for choosing to share
for choosing to fight

It does help to get things out. The release of feelings on paper. To share those feelings with others. I write of loves long past. Because I want to remember them. Because they were and alway\'s will be a loving memory. I liked your poem. Sad and hurtful as it may be. It shows the feelings even those are not good one. You say you make mistakes. Well we all do. But we get over them in time and try not to make them again. You have a good evening . I will read more later.

What an awesome poem. It shows the hurt of a lost love . But one that will be there forever. I\'ve been there too. Not a good journey to go on. But try to think of the good times. The close times. Make them the good memories. Not the sad time.
You never know what your future might bring. I hope the hurt goes away in time.Thanks for sharing your work .

the problem with anxiety, is similar to depression
or panic or phobia\'s, see
the fact that almost every human alive
suffers to some degree from all of these feelings/fears/dreads
means people\'s ability to empathise is hijacked
by their misunderstanding of the commonality
in the terminology being used;
the \'anxiety\' you\'re referring to
has no relation with the anxiety other\'s feel regularly
in their everyday lives, and I think that\'s the first thing
we as a society need to address
about our collective indifference: to mental suffering
we need to educate better and help the general public
comprehend the distinction at-play, between
those \'genuinely\' suffering from \'social interaction based\'
mental \'conditions\', specifically we need to use much
more expressive words, in labelling
this socio integration stemming: psychological conditions;
yes, while we all have
anxiety when going for a first date or a job interview
and we do all experience
panic, when faced with sudden danger;
what we experience
is an alien\'s lightyears of distance - away
from the \'anxiety\' you\'re depicting:
that of GAD, of Manic anxiety or worse even
those last two weeks of Terminal agitation, to add
even more horror to our experience of that final breath...
so dear poet, please continue to speak you truth
and create awareness,
but maybe provide a little technical info
so ignorant people like me, can better relate to your words
and empathise with your suffering with kindness;
then hopefully, we can all help bridge the gap
in that general indifference
rooted in miscommunication based misunderstandings...
thanks for choosing to share!
(please forgive my lengthy
and opinionated ramble
I meant well)

To everything in life there is time and season. Rain drops fall for a reason and give way for the sun to shine! Such is life. I enjoyed your poem.

Life could be described as one rainstorm after another but you will learn not to let them get you soaked after a while. Once you\'ve achieved that you may notice the sun shines too.

Sometimes simple is effective, striking, memorable... like your first stanza. Repetition, variation on a theme, those insistent questions pulling us in. A provocative twist on the carpe diem theme... I could feel that thorn, taste the blood on my finger. Not as poetic an observation as yours, perhaps, but I recall pointing out to my childhood friends when they were bitten by a hornet or stepped on a thorn that they were blessed to be able to feel pain, and they should embrace the circumstances. Of course they thought I was daft!

So vivid and confessional, I don\'t know what\'s real and what\'s being in character. I love the line

It was all a planned mistake

Be kind to yourself OK?

Your opening made me laugh.

\"I’m not stupid, I know what love is.\"

Shakespeare called love blind, a many-splendored thing, as boundless as the sea... but he never called it bullshit. A perspective we\'ve all experienced! Thanks for saying it for us.
