SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE
Cheeky Missy said:

Very lovely and richly poignant, so beautifully rendered with delightful flow and end-rhyming, yet sweetly brief as if succinct, how this deliciously renders the plea so many hearts seem likewise echo, each lost in our own little worlds, reaching, crying, wistfully longing empty-armed. Paired with that heart-wrenching piece, which again, so many echo painfully, la this packs a punch, to say the least. Thanks for sharing. In a sense I'd say I keep thinking its answer is in flesh and blood, and in another more true sense, the Word of God says it best: "..He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness." Ps 107:9b?, if only we'd see that. I enjoyed this very much, maybe because I am too fond of bittersweet pieces. Thanks again.

Jenny

REMIND ME PLEASE

Sometimes we all need a reminder of who we are. In this crazy sad world we live in today it's easy to lose ourselves in all the hate and ugliness. If we all held onto our beliefs and not get confused in all the rubbish the world would be a better place. good write here!

Hello Soki! I had a workman over while I was listening to the song and low and behold, he started to sing along and knew all of the words to the beautiful song. It was amazing. I played it again just so he would sing again. Terrific poem to go along with it! you are a gem.

RAGING STORM
baj-a said:

Your poem took me back to nights when as a young person I would lie in my bed at night and listen to the storm - the thunder, lightning, rain on the roof and I felt safe within the womb of the storm. The end was a beautiful transition from a storm outside to the actual storm inside you and your tears the rain. Beautifully done.

Soki, I love your little twists at the end of your poems. I was all set for a raging storm and it was your poor breaking heart. I hope it is just a poem and not a real broken heart. I sometimes put myself into terrible situations just to get a poem. LOL. Have a happy day. You are a great writer. I'm glad you enjoy my writing too. diamond

Soki, I love the way you write. I know men like you have described. Peaceful and gentle. You have to look far and wide to find them and actually they usually find you. Have a happy day. diamond

They are really hard to find but if you look hard, you can easily spot them. They are the ones quietly smiling and excuding self confidence.
