Bees are among the most intriguing creatures. I can watch them for hours visiting my backyard blossoms, from the first tiny clover blooms poking out in early spring to the last crimson Turk\'s caps hanging on after the first freeze of late fall. Your portrayal of them as engineers and navigators as well as dancers and nurturers is wonderfully insightful. In many ancient traditions, verse was used didactically to teach farming as well as theology, proper behavior as well as epic battles. This reminded me of some of the ancient Greek and Latin and medieval didactic poetry.

Your poem reminded me again how exceptional and important bees are. Without them, there would be no food.

a \'timely\' character depiction of Jonah\'s didactive tale, in that stream of consciousness style
admittedly a write rooted in your chosen faith, but still - I think this can be enjoyed devoid of theological interpretation..
an engaging read dear poet (though I did squint at demonic) forgive me, my open mindedness is a tad squeamish, lol

Good write Samer. Jonah?
I\'m doing series, selecting verses from the Minor Prophets. I admit I\'m picking out the \'good bits\'. The \'judgement bits\' don\'t always make for joyful hymn-poems, but we can\'t ignore those bits. I could always do \'said\' poems though, not for singing.

a pleasingly delightful conceptualisation of poetry infused with Euclid\'s proofing methodology for grounding those root belief systems you choose to lend your faith - to...
\'Through the quantitative integration in the Ultimate Substance, integration and annihilation can occur.

However, the Ultimate Essence has allowed us to exercise a kind of a tiny fraction of individual free will and a fraction of control over our lives and actions.

All our true identity and personality resides in this tiny fraction of our free will and our freedom to choose\'
indeed: let us all be free, to choose...

I got into some \'deep\' stuff. One author said \'For salvation, it is not necessary for you to read ALL of Dt Thomas Aquinas\' Summa Theologica, and/or the other Summa Book he wrote\'. Phew!

The Perilous Bridge
FredPeyer said:

A great metaphor, Samer. Every so often in life we arrive at one of these \'bridges\' where going forward is scary, but just about every time when we arrive at the other end and look back, we are glad we crossed.

ok so usually I try to engage wholeheartedly with what I\'m reading, but their is always an exception..
see I was in awe of that kid in your pic
(btw I find you always have a great image to accompany your write\'s)
anyway, so struck-dumb contemplating the diverse spectrum of \'life experiences\': experienced, by those living lives beyond our wildest imagination,
and then I scrolled to read your first line:
\'Are you still willing to cross the bridge?\'
I shook my head, while mouthing \'no bleeping way, not that bleeping bridge\'
and then I started writing these words..
forgive me, its a Friday and its been one of those self-elongating week\'s, lol
