None other than Yourself
L. B. Mek said:

(thanks for sharing and inspiring my little scribbled reply)
yeah, excavating for those threadbare Heroic elements from within ourselves, can easily morph into an Epic tale,
and yet
some of us will never realise that aspect of ourselves, maybe
because our life will be devoid of dramatic escapades and deeds, maybe
we assume:
\'Just\' putting food on the table
\'Just\' keeping a house warm and bright
\'Just\' wishing a simple \'have a nice day\' in the morning,
and a \'welcome home\', in the evening
isn\'t anything: Heroic...
When in actuality, those \'just\' deeds is what makes us heroes in the eyes of those we care about the most,
We don\'t need a Hollywood biopic to tell us our life has value,
We don\'t have to be the one\'s in the front lines, getting all the glory
to know
we\'re worthy of all the love and loyalty we\'ve accumulated in our lives.
We don\'t have to be anything more, than the best we can strive for.
That\'s the real value in looking within ourselves for life\'s answers,
its unlocking that simple sense of self affirmation: to our worth!

The Uttermost Stupidity
L. B. Mek said:

\'because those needy individuals are the main cause of their current misery,

due to their bad decisions and their uttermost stupidity.\'
I see, so this what it means to be devoid of empathy;
then how lucky for me, I never succumbed to that unhinged dogmatic zealotry...
how desperately sad, to witness the pathetic inhumane elitism, the so called \'morally virtuous\',
drown themselves-in: knowingly!
what a waste of energy, time and all-things poetically sincere, in life...

The Absolute Essence
jarcher54 said:

I don\'t really understand your explanations, though your point is clear. I am assuming you intend this partly as a \"poem\" but partly as a didactic, or \"teaching,\" work. As I read this I am confused, because long ago I realized that each of us is the center of the universe (literally according to relativity and quantum physics) and to the extent greater wills (like war, storms, or the end of time) do not interfere, each of us is the primary Will in our own universe.

Black Forest
L. B. Mek said:

\'The lonely heart of the forest
which is inhabited by the horror
of its ghostly stillness.

The ghostly stillness
that spreads a sense of terrifying loneliness
around the untrodden corners of the forest.

But now your shining face
becomes the sun of this dark forest
that dispels the gloom of its nights.\'
(may we all be granted a glimpse
of our fated \'shining face\', in life
and most importantly
may we have accumulated, enough
gleaned wisdom
to recognise its presences in our lives
whilst its still hovering, near enough
to be appreciated and treasured
whether fleeting, or infinite its role: by our side...)
as challenging as you make reading your write\'s
I (eventually), found this to be a beautiful read
thanks for choosing to share
a timely write imbued with so much hopeful positivity
much needed, in this bleak and challenging time\'s!

The Valley of Negligence
L. B. Mek said:

\'when he emerges from his abyssal cave,
declaring the dominance
of the kingdom of sadness over the vulnerable lonely hearts,
and ruthlessly enforce them to join
his deeply cherished permanent folk song.\'..
are you dipping your toes
in Plato\'s mindboggling minefield cave, of self-awareness
and Jung\'s shadow, realms
of the inevitable noir in our self-curated, subconscious
and utilising your uniquely: geometric, poetic style to do so?..
truly enjoy, your zeal for incorporating
didactive, philosophical concepts in your writing
hope you can fine tune your style someday, to insure
even more people can benefit from the gleaned wisdom
you so generously choose to share,
until then please accept my solitarily pathetic: thank you
for doing so!..

When We Unite Again
L. B. Mek said:

\'From our united wounds, the essence of healing
will emanate.
The essence of healing which is rooted
in our empathy, for each other\'s pains.
When we unite, again
our thirsty hearts will answer
the call of the land of life.
The land of life, where
our lifeless hearts, are united.\'
this is such an impassioned wording
of heartbreakingly desperate, yearning...
thank you! for sharing

Creation is Love
jarcher54 said:

Samer, you are a thoughtful soul. I enjoy your vivaciousness, your sincerity, the passion with which you urge the reader to come along with you. The interplay between physical existence being nothing and, when love is brought to bear, being everything, is intriguing. the end of your poem brings to my mind the famous lines of the Scottish poet Archibald MacLeish: \"A poem should not mean, but be.\" I don\'t know that I follow all your meaning, but I like it anyway!

Freni Karaluthara said:

Dear Samer Amin, I liked your poem.
the concluding lines are so beautiful and carries the truth.
\"In other words, the fluctuation of the word \"Be\" which called all beings into existence,
is the same vibrant letters which emanate from the heart of a life-giving lover.\"

Manipulative Partner
Lorna said:

So many people on the attack these days... I just can\'t understand why they don\'t just walk away and go play in another sandbox rather than trying to decimate others. This was a troubling read because it so true of so many.

August 16th, 2021 04:53

Manipulative Partner
L. B. Mek said:

\'Since these partners are aware of all the loopholes
and weaknesses in their partner\'s psyche.\'
that\'s the cost of making ourselves vulnerable
in the name of love,
always smart to avoid blinkered mindsets
it allows us the chance to escape quicker
if things go wrong,
we must treat life, like its a boxing ring
and the number one rule in the ring
\'is to protect yourself, at All times!\'..
a brave, personal write
impassioned and highly expressive,
thanks for choosing to share

\"emotional death may have the power to reshape our features, and recast our new identity\" excellent line showing how emotional trauma and sorrow can change who we are and makes estranged of ourselves. Beautiful poem, Samer!
