Never being a believer in the myth of St peter and the pearly gates, this is refreshing reading.

Very well composed and extremely entertaining.

Outstanding!
21 verses and not a line out of rhythm
if I would put music to this poetry
it would have to be Tennessee Whisky
by Chris Stapleton
\'You\'re lines are as smooth
as Tennessee whiskey\'
🍻
what a poetic treat, in a read!

Dear poet you really have a way with those words
Maybe a conformist may be praised and a deviant shall always be blamed
The society is so rule bound today, that anything out of the book is considered insanity

Great to see you back and on form, C.
Perfect proof that context is all when deciding which side of the sanity line people are on.
I’m also given to understand that something called ‘bluetooth’ causes a lot of people to talk to themselves on the street. When I first noticed this I did attempt to advise a couple of folks to up their dental hygiene regimens, but the response wasn’t very encouraging, so I gave up……

Omega Sunset (an ode to Yeats)
Doggerel Dave said:

The trouble with subject specific pieces such as this, on a site such as this is that one either knows the subject or doesn\'t - and I don\'t know Yeats (Neither, it would seem, do many others...)

But welcome back - thought you had gone forever ....

Still hopeful for some of your comic stuff...

Feline Awakening
L. B. Mek said:

is that feline named Euclid? dear poet
thank you! for sharing your profound insights..
\'All that is transitory is a metaphor
for the eternal and all that is eternal
is a metaphor for the self.
The self is the collective consciousness
we all share and what we share is our
experience of being.
Being is nothing but an illusion created
in the mind of God while God is simply
a metaphor for eternity in the mind of
man.
Now pour me some kibble for I know
many things but do not possess opposable
thumbs”.\'
