A great metaphor. Poetry in stone would ensure that it would last for future generations. Art is art no matter the medium and such a work would be like the supposed ten commandments or a Rosetta stone. To bad it didn\'t work out but nothing ventured nothing gained they say. A most lovely write without the stone. How many times I start a poem that I discard after seeing it doesn\'t work. Loved it
