A lovely poem that personifies nature and makes this holy siren a living soul. Lovely

As a child I had separation anxiety and abandonment issues, having been handed over from relative to relative. It makes me ask if the post cocoon beauty is worth all that... but in hindsight, I guess it truly is, without meaning to condone the practise. Beautiful work here. A Fave 🤩

A heart surrounded by another persons broken word and promises, the only way to be free is to do it themselves, enjoyed the read

Will we meet again?

We all have those moments when someone touchs our heart and if not acted on they prey upon our mind. Fantasies are built as time passes and they won\'t let us go. All this comes through in this poem of a most haunting nature. Good write

Yes, we\'ll meet again, you and I.
But how? We\'ve not even met to start with. How will we know what each other looks like?! heehee.

The analogy was a good one and was unexpected despite the title. Nicely done.

Guilt of Longing
jarcher54 said:
A fine soliloquy, simple and honest, very universal. Those fading sensations, like the missed scent of a lost pet or the fading recollection of your grandmother\'s face, are indeed painful. We also miss the scent, taste, and touch. The line \"It\'s either the loveliest dream or never-ending nightmare\" is brilliant.

Autumn is my favorite time of the year, and you have so exquisitely framed it around this tale of love. Beautiful imagery paints this wonderful scene, and the last line is icing on the cake. Loved every line!

I really like this poem dear Poet
\'I measure the rhythm of my pain
Hoping to numb the ache
But each pulse echoes your name
And what I gave up for love\'s sake\'
Brilliant poetry, thank you again!
