angel myth
Cassie58 said:

Dear Jim, I have never seen an Angel but I surely hope they exist. There is something really comforting about that thought. Angels to guide us on our way. Beautiful thoughts. Hope you have had a lovely Sunday. Very wet day here.

lost puppy
Cassie58 said:

Dear Jim, this is a delightful write of a puppy being saved. I will never understand how some people can discard their pets like trash. Your caring side and love for dogs comes through with flying colours. Have a lovely day. Beautiful sun here.

guiding light
Cassie58 said:

Many have spoken of that light at the end of the tunnel. You make eternity sound wonderful Jim. It will come to all of us soon enough. Hope you are having a lovely day today. Miserable morning has turned to bright sunshine. Hope the sun is shining for you.

bobby a true story
Cassie58 said:

I haven’t seen the film Jim, but the wonderful story of Grey friars Bobby is well known. Tremendous loyalty dogs show towards their owners. Touches the heart. Your poem is a lovely warm read, tinged with sadness as both of them have now gone. Have a lovely Tuesday Jim. Sun is shining.

Thanks for the link.

Being blessed with children, grandchildren and greats is a wonderful blessing as we get older. They are a reminder of our past with our parents and siblings. All about the cycles of life. They keep me young. A lovely poem Jim. Beautiful day here. Been out in the garden. Lovely September warmth. Have a super Monday.

Dear Jim, your poem today brought back some very dear memories to me. We took our three grandchildren sledging on a snowy morning some years back. Wrapped up warm we went to a local beauty spot. Hard to climb, but exhilarating on the way down. We had such great fun. Took photographs too. Thank you for the lovely memory your words gifted. Have a wonderful day.

Sage advice here Jim. The old saying is a problem shared is a problem halved. No good bottling those thoughts. I wonder if you are in your garden today?. We have a bright sunshine day, but cool with it. Jumper weather. First time for months. The leaves on my silver birch are just starting to yellow. Enjoy the rest of the day.

What an endearing tribute to your dear Dad. I was a Daddy!s girl, along with my two younger sisters. All of us Daddy’s girls. If he’d had his way, none of us would ever had married lol. No one was ever good enough for his daughters lol. Lovely poem Jim. Hope you are ok.

A lovely autumn offering Jim. It has been cool here today. No change of colour yet. no golds and reds, just a cold and windy day. Hope yours has been good. Looking forward to autumn colour. So lovely to look at.

Such a sad poem Jim. So many lonely people. It’s not just older people who feel lonely either. Young people can also feel isolated when living away from home. I sincerely hope you have family and friends who keep in close contact with you. We are very fortunate, still have grandchildren and their partners living with us. So difficult for young people to buy or rent these days. We live in a costly area, within commuting distance of London. Enjoy Sunday evening.
