I doubt, half of us
\'the empathetic, half\'
could make it to adulthood;

a portion of the ugly, we still
so adamantly
refuse to acknowledge, just
so we can survive
a life, we
in actuality, hate
such is that conflicting, duality
in all-things, fallible humanity)
