With dramatic overtones, your poem is subtle and deeply sensual! A balance between tenderness and foreboding.

Ellen Marsell said:

An acrobat thinker balancing between light and darkness, reason and madness.
How to live if the answers already exist, but they are not at all what you were looking for?
There is a lot of pain here, a little irony, and all this is mixed with a longing for true freedom - from other people\'s expectations, patterns and yourself.

Reality is in the eye of the beholder and what we wish to be. A group consensus on reality determines what we call psychosis. Interesting that mental illness is by vote.

The hero, realizing his dependence on the creator, embodies the desire to go beyond the imposed role. An intriguing piece!

Santa passing by is better than what my father used to tell us. He said he would take us to the graveyard and show us where Santa was buried.

\"The good Santa passed by without seeing you...\"
A social and emotional poem that reveals the tragedy of forgotten and rejected people. Penetrating images.
Great writing!

I hear voiced the difficulty in understanding others. Very nicely worded in poetic form. The truth lies in do we really understand each other or not.

Praying

Strong imagery ranging from religious symbols to revelations about loneliness. And a bit of irony in reflecting on the nature of faith.

Silence
Ellen Marsell said:

Something like a cry of the soul, striving for silence, peace and harmony in contrast to the chaos and noise of modernity. A strong and imaginative poem with a pronounced poetic sensibility.

In reading this, I feel like I have just come out of a purple haze of the 60s even though it speaks of a blue haze may be more modern. I like the last line and it provokes thought about avatars all together

Somewhere along my way
Ellen Marsell said:

This poem has a rich, reflective character, conveying the spirit of a way that is both physical and existential in nature. A way full of illusions, impermanence and fleeting moments where you encounter different facets of yourself and the world around you, leaving behind a trail of encounters and losses.

Mystical fluids
Ellen Marsell said:

The poem creates an image of the inextricable link between life and death. It is a lyrical monologue about the coming and going nature of life. Powerful metaphors conjure up the ephemerality of body and soul, weaving an intimate conversation between Eros (love, striving for life) and Thanatos (death, dissolution). The union of these opposing forces creates a mystical atmosphere.

Mystical fluids
sorenbarrett said:

This one folks strong images of the body dissolving into liquid. At first, not a pleasant thought, but with some reflection, it gives new meaning to the old passage, ashes to ashes and dust dust returning to the Earth, maybe returning to the sea a beautiful poem.
