My comments on the poem “Moonsomnia” by Salvia S
The moon is personified, it is given a personality and a life, like a human. Like a human, it needs sleep, and like a human sometimes it can’t sleep. Its secrets include hidden wishes confided to it in silence by humans on earth, eg by lovers. It also hears murmurs of the stars. Like humans, it knows solitude and rewinds thoughts of solitude.
I have chalked up hundreds of analyses made for me by Artificial Intelligence platforms about my poems. I suggest that you submit your poems one by one to an AI, eg ChatGPT, Claude3, Perplexity AI. It will do a comprehensive analysis. You will be amazed by the depth of things it finds in your writings. You can publish these analyses on sites like My Poetic Side. I do so myself. Prepare a standard file in Microsoft WORD, insert paragraphs for yourself and for the AI. As you proceed through the chat, type your own prompts and copy the remarks by the AI and paste into your WORD file. When done, publish your file. Best wishes. Soman Ragavan. 26 December, 2024.

Love Tonight, in the Moonlight
Soman Ragavan said:

My comments on the poem “Love tonight, in the moonlight”
This poem is mind-blowing ! It contains passions of a level that can exist only in a girl. Girls feel passionately about love. Words that conjure up ideas or feelings of romance in the poem : moonlight, gentle breeze, murmurs of the heart, twinkling stars, soaring clouds, glittering skies, nightingale, heartbeats, flower blossoms, fragrance of flowers, eternal time, infinite universe, spirit of love, molding of hearts. These words are not only thought up by the poetess but worked into a poetic composition. Excellent work ! Soman Ragavan

Transient Duality
Soman Ragavan said:

My comments on the poem “Transient duality”
The poem says that, by and large, two choices are offered to us. In life, hold the rose or the thorns. With the rose, there are bloom and fragrance. With the thorns there are pain and bleeding. It’s up to us what we choose. The last line points out the short life of the rose. Thus,if we waste time we will lose the chances of our life. Soman Ragavan.

Stellar Harmony
Soman Ragavan said:

My comments on the poem “Stellar harmony” by Salvia S
The poem speaks of the sincerity of stars. Poets see hidden or deep sights from what is around them. The poetess sees the sincerity of stars, for they do not seem to hate each other or fight with each other. Even if the laws of physics cause them to collide sometimes.

“Together, forming constellations
Unity in diversity…” We should learn from the lessons of the stars : instead of fighting with each other, we should live in peace with one another. Otherwise put, there is future for each one of us. Therefore, it is pointless to try to exterminate others. Soman Ragavan. 24.11.2024

Love Letter from Waterlily to her beloved Moon
Soman Ragavan said:

My comments on the poem “Love letter from waterlily to her beloved moon” by Salvia S

“Still you\'re lonely,
Lonelier than me.
(…)
For you know me well,
My beloved
For my loneliness…”
The poem speaks of the loneliness of both the moon and the poetess. Though the moon is surrounded by myriads of stars, it is still lonely. Just as humans are surrounded by millions like them but are still lonely. Solitude and loneliness often form the tapestry on which poets write to express their deep thoughts. Colourful Cloudy Reflections
Soman Ragavan said:

My comments on the poem “Cloudy reflections” by Salvia S
The poetess has managed to find words to describe each type of cloud. There are both romance and philosophy in the words of the poem. We will note that clouds are ruled by the winds : they have to go where the wind wants them to go. The reign on the cloud is a short one. The cloud displays the colours decided by the sun. The poem “I wandered lonely as a cloud by Wordsworth (1770-1850) speaks about the loneliness of clouds. Soman Ragavan. 24.11.2024

Solitude Reminiscence
Soman Ragavan said:

My comments on the poem “Solitude reminiscence” by Salvia S
Life is strange, indeed. We are condemned to meet others, but the relations might not work. We are left with bitter memories with which to live. Break-ups are difficult to handle. But, differences between individuals are such that the day comes when the break-up is inevitable. Soman Ragavan.
