Salvia you have grown in your absence and so has your poetry. This reads as something from an ancient text of wisdom. In fact the first line is inevitably true. Nothing exists without the body and soul. What is left after the storm? Life is a storm as is each adventure and what we see is what is left destruction or cleansing. What is you and your soul? A question science can not answer the body made of chemicals and atoms but the soul or consciousness no one can explain. Taken as a statement not a question they do keep you warm in the temporal and spiritual way. Never loose heart in the thunder. It is adversity that makes us strong. Lightning from you shines brighter. In overcoming the adversity you shine and gain wisdom therefore light. Let the illumination guide your soul as wisdom will. With all this how can the heart not rejoice. A masterful write with clever rhyme as well a definite fave

Yay! A new poem! Dearest Salvia, there’s a gentle strength in this…storm and light held together without fear. That line about lightning shining from within anchors it, and the whole piece feels like something meant to steady the heart. I’m grateful for this. Well done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

the pain and pangs of unrequited love are described in a very emotional way - but do not despair - Cupid can strike when least expected - so keep the hopes shining

Dearest Salvia, my friend, this is tender and heartbreaking…the star-bright love, the poisoned loneliness, the heart hiding what it can’t bear to lose. You captured that emotional divide with real grace. Beautifully done. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Well written, the poem explores the complex emotions surrounding unrequited love or love that is fraught with pain and isolation. It juxtaposes the beauty of love with the feelings of loneliness and despair that can accompany it.

As the stars and moon shine let love shine, there is no harm in giving of your light. Some may choose to shield it or not look at it but it makes no difference. A most poetic and lovely write Salvia and a fave

A poem so delicate but edged: a warning distilled into three quick breaths. The sundew’s glitter hides its hunger, much like affection can mask intent, and the rainbow’s beauty slips away even as you reach for it. It’s a reminder that not all shimmer is meant to be held, and not every glow stays long enough to warm.

Wow! This haiku-like poem is brilliant, dearest Salvia. It is a simple yet deeply profound metaphor that rings very true, when it comes to humans and the \"love\" they often give then take away. Powerful! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛ Great picture too!
