Stellar Harmony

My comments on the poem “Stellar harmony” by Salvia S
The poem speaks of the sincerity of stars. Poets see hidden or deep sights from what is around them. The poetess sees the sincerity of stars, for they do not seem to hate each other or fight with each other. Even if the laws of physics cause them to collide sometimes.
“Together, forming constellations
Unity in diversity…” We should learn from the lessons of the stars : instead of fighting with each other, we should live in peace with one another. Otherwise put, there is future for each one of us. Therefore, it is pointless to try to exterminate others. Soman Ragavan. 24.11.2024

Love Letter from Waterlily to her beloved Moon

My comments on the poem “Love letter from waterlily to her beloved moon” by Salvia S
“Still you\'re lonely,
Lonelier than me.
(…)
For you know me well,
My beloved
For my loneliness…”
The poem speaks of the loneliness of both the moon and the poetess. Though the moon is surrounded by myriads of stars, it is still lonely. Just as humans are surrounded by millions like them but are still lonely. Solitude and loneliness often form the tapestry on which poets write to express their deep thoughts. My comments on the poem “Cloudy reflections” by Salvia S
The poetess has managed to find words to describe each type of cloud. There are both romance and philosophy in the words of the poem. We will note that clouds are ruled by the winds : they have to go where the wind wants them to go. The reign on the cloud is a short one. The cloud displays the colours decided by the sun. The poem “I wandered lonely as a cloud by Wordsworth (1770-1850) speaks about the loneliness of clouds. Soman Ragavan. 24.11.2024

My comments on the poem “Solitude reminiscence” by Salvia S
Life is strange, indeed. We are condemned to meet others, but the relations might not work. We are left with bitter memories with which to live. Break-ups are difficult to handle. But, differences between individuals are such that the day comes when the break-up is inevitable. Soman Ragavan.

When Dreams Reflect Eternity

The most beautiful poem. It speaks of nature in a metaphor for dreams themselves. It shows their evolution and their power and force. Very poetically done.

Love Letter from Waterlily to her beloved Moon

You might do well, and also enjoy, reading Sir Phillip Sydney\'s love sonnets...to the moon. Her name is Cynthia. That\'s a hint.
Lovely and romantic love song, bittersweet and so sweetly detailed with a delicate poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
