A great metaphor for what industry would want but they have shot too many of the old faithful animals now days and there are not many left to take the spots so machines have taken their place where horse power is no measured in the hundreds and thousands and the old loyal workhorse is turned out to pasture prior to the glue factory. A very nicely written poem with great allegory and good rhyme and meter. A fave

This was an enjoyable read. I loved your poem. The line \"Will help me remember your face\" has so much power and so much intimate feeling. I believe you will find a place where you can have solace to see this person\'s face again and again. Thank you for sharing.

I sense deeper meaning to this poem where a grave is not where the person is anymore and one is forgotten and one must find one\'s own place
