Well said in this poem of metaphor. Unexpected death may take us in a fall or in the frost of the fall. Nicely written

Your Face

This was an enjoyable read. I loved your poem. The line \"Will help me remember your face\" has so much power and so much intimate feeling. I believe you will find a place where you can have solace to see this person\'s face again and again. Thank you for sharing.

I sense deeper meaning to this poem where a grave is not where the person is anymore and one is forgotten and one must find one\'s own place

This poem has a nostalgic but also slightly melancholic feeling to it. The melody of memory is interwoven in the lines, I enjoyed the read!

It Was The Striving
Poetic Licence said:

Very well written write reflecting on the thoughts and emotions of having dreams and aspirations, always having something to strive for, you get a sense of hopelessness at the end, that there are no more dreams, just getting by, loved the read

It Was The Striving

I heard the end of this poem before it arrived. To look up and say I made it this far is wonderful but to say it is over is another thing. Complex emotions and thoughts fill this poem and leave a feeling of nostalgia and sadness.
