I wrote this poem while reading Japanese traditional poetry. So I probably lean toward classicism.

A forceful reminder that we as humans know almost nothing about the wonderful inhabitants of worlds around us - that butterfly is just being itself but oh what magic that is. Thank you for sharing this beautiful creature along with its mysteries dear Yasu - - a fine read.

THE MIRROR
Yasu Na said:

Mirrors reflect heat as well as light. They reflect our backs as well as our faces. They reflect what happens as well as what happened. They reflect our dreams as well as actuality. And......
I also like mirrors.
Thank you.

Good write, we are all one family, it is a pity that more love does not pervade our family.

Your poem reminds me of how I feel in a restaurant sometimes Yahsuharu; but delighted rather than sad. I look around, notice the diversity in the patrons, notice the individual table conversations but still feel as if we were one big happy and connected family eating our dinner together. We all seem to be so at home - so very close to one another - enjoying our meals together....

A SEED
BRIAN & ANGELA said:

Thanks YASU - an enigmatic poem ! I love seeds because they contain the blueprint of life DNA ! In my perfect World every seed would germinate and bear "fruit". Your seed is ready willing and able to come to fruition all it needs is soil - sun - shower and then it will burst into life. Sometimes we are like a "dry seed" blown and lost just looking for the right place to bloom & blossom - but - "Spring is almost gone !" - BRIAN

A soft and steady awakening to the little things in life we miss. I am hooked by the serenity and calm pace set throughout which really assists in creating that mood. Very lovely piece of work!

WOW YASU - Awesome fantasy poem which can be interpreted in many ways. In our dreams and fantasies we often morph into parrots and puppets and the paranormal and then they morph into each other evoking "Memories of a particular name !" Thanks for sharing - please check my poems - BRIAN

LOVELY LOVE POEM YASUHARU - Like you I will never fully understand Ladies. However I believe they want to make themselves even more beautiful to please US. I like my Ladies eyelashes (irrespective of length) but in the 21st C SIZE MATTERS ! So like her (and you) we are all happy and we all smile at the outcome ! Thanks for sharing - BRIAN

YASUHARU - THANKS FOR SHARING ! Awesome FREE VERSE Poem - Temptation has many faces. I'm often tempted "To get up and go" somewhere anywhere, But like you I don't always know where I got or why I was there ! However when I get home again I always fell better for having gone SOMEWHERE ! BRIAN

AT ANY TIME IN THE LIFE
BRIAN & ANGELA said:

Thanks for caring and sharing. There is an awesome beauty in our Youthful Years. Everything is new and the things we experience and the people we meet - IN OUR YOUTH - are much more real and lasting than at any other time in our life ! The Prophet prayed "O God restore unto me thte days of my Youthfulness". We can never go back again and be young so we have to treasure forever the joys and memories of our Youth - they will never ever grow dim ! Please visit my poems - thanks - BRIAN

I really love the way you write. It's smooth, and forms an amazing story in just the small amount of writing. You're really good! I can't wait to read more poems by you! I wish I could put words together in such fashion as you do. But, alas, we can't all be great writers can we?
