What I do not understand is why that need becomes hostility toward women, social change, and men who embody masculinity differently. Is the masculinity presented here hostile by nature? Despite what they say or what society demands men are different than women with different needs and thoughts. That does not make them unhealthy only different and this seems to bring that point out. Nicely said.

Unfortunately all too true. Very often those judged as classic writes were not that popular upon release and those acclaimed critically excellent also are not that well liked. Some of my best poems are the least read.
