I always wanted to live to be a 100 and be shot by a jealous husband. Light and fun. Very well done. (no rhyme intended)

THANKS WILLY ~ For a beautiful but sad Fantasy story ~ but it does happen in real life ! Friends of mine have been jilted at the Altar or their partner has died just prior to the wedding or just after. I am pleased to report that in all the four cases that come to mind the one left behind recovered and went on to marry another and is still happily married. However the experience in each case left an indelible mark. Thanks for sharing BRIAN

Very good but sad poem. Reminds me of the Charles Dickens story, and the \"Great Expectations,\" character Miss Havisham, having been made a fool of, and being left at the alter, and never removing her wedding gown...:)
