I have worn the mask my whole life. It is difficult to be real. There is something special about laying in the grass. Enjoyed.

I sense that this poem has 2 parts, one for the non-believer and another for the believer. This is a struggle for many.

Very well done Daniel. We do ignore the good in our lives that we already have right at hand. Very thought-provoking piece...:)

THANKS DANIEL ~ For reminding us about WALLS ! Sure they Protect but they also Divide as did the Berlin Wall ~ til GOD blew it down. A Friend of mine was there and said it just toppled brick by brick and no one intervened. TRUMP the HUMP wants to build a 2000 MILE WALL ~ 10 foot high between MEXICO and the US ! There are 350 million LEGAL crossings each year ~ and TRUMP thinks twice as many illegal ! The biggest joke last year was ~ MEXICO IS GOING TO PAY FOR THE WALL ~ HO HO HO ! If it was not for the Hispanics the USA would be more miserable than Hillary ! 2017 should be a YEAR for tearing down the Walls of greed ~ pride ~ discrimination ~ party politics and prejudice ! Thanks for caring BRIAN

Thanks DANIEL we ned some \"classic poetry\" on MPS ! Four perfect quatrains with balanced rhyme (xaxa xbxb etc) and rhythm ! BUT ~ not only perfect STRUCTURE ~ but perfect SUBJECT as well. At CHRISTMAS the gulf between the have\'s and the have not\'s is wider than ever. Some Families spending thousands while others (in the UK) have to go to the FOOD BANK for basics. We can all do something to help ~ we can all do more. Thanks for caring BRIAN. Please check my poms ~ Thanks B

This reminds me of two people who were stuck by chance together and enjoyed each other\'s company, knowing it was only for a short time. Great thoughts in the poem, Daniel.

Thanks for sharing DANIEL ! ONS\'s can (surprisingly) be something special that stays in our subconscious for ever. But because ONS\'s have no beginning or end they are forever ephemeral and always remain transient ! Please check my poems ~ Thanks BRIAN.

A great reminiscent piece Daniel, in the end we all lead colourful lives and to be remembered for the colour, not the shades of black, white and grey, is what makes us unique in the hearts and minds of those we hold dear. Rainbows are far more beautiful than storm clouds; but without the rain the rainbow would not exist! xx
