Dignity\'s Wealth (+1)

Thanks Dave. My office used to share a common wall with a salon that catered to senior women.
They did permanents on Wednesdays and the smell of that solution literally came through the walls.
I\'m glad we finally moved.

Dignity\'s Wealth has definite resonances for me as I visit a unisex (or whatever the current terminology is) salon for a quick shear. And if it’s quick enough I might only have to take three breaths during the visit… A very smooth amusing read, thanks.

When I was given my Lakota name (Wanna Hin Gle), it was amazing to me
how seamlessly native America combines native religion with christianity.
There was (and is) more than one road that leading to Rome,.
Thanks, as always.

important questions, all!
having \'faith\' is never a crime, its that dark side of Any limiting \'dogma\' that creates obstacles,
the part where there is only One way and only One set of people may have access to this One saviour...
if we can\'t look at the endless Diversity within Existence and acknowledge, there may be more than One avenue for excavating answers to life\'s questions, then we continue Humanity\'s cyclical nature for self destruction:
a crusade one day, a jihad the next and on, and on, and on , and on....
and here comes Science, with its explanations as a new generation\'s Dogma, conquering all with its \'Humane\': Atomic Bomb...
thanks for sharing a thought provoking write dear Poet, please forgive my cynical representation of your profound and searching words,
thank you for inspiring my little scribbled reply

Beautiful writing in both poems, Kurt. But I think it is never too late to ask for more!

a wonderful read and a showcase for your versatility, what a talent you choose to share with us,
thank you!

Farewell To Arms (+1)
L. B. Mek said:
A Brilliant Write!
but sadly, there will never be a \'farewell to arms\', for you see
defence budget\'s are agreed upon, before
any election hopeful dares put their name in the \'ring\',
while all the time, great men of courage
who sadly: trust in nothing but \'might\', insure
there\'s always a new threat \'visible\' in democracy\'s ever-foggy \'horizon\'...
