Making Love To The Muse
Louis Gibbs said:

This is a deep one, Kurt, with open interpretations. Had to read it more than once, and kept forming it in my head as the cycle of death and rebirth our souls perpetually go through. Well Done, Sir!

Well thought out philosophy. If a never ending cycle of harmony could be implemented within this depraved world, then maybe we\'d all be better off. Nice writing from you once again Kurt.

myself and me said:

I am at the point try to understand how come once seemed as soul mate , eventually the feeling fade away. Is there a way to keep the feeling fresh? Keep the love from run?

Last Bet
Gary Edward Geraci said:

The anaphora \"waiting to die\" is indeed an inescapable reality; the possibilities between now and then are endless; one\'s choices critical - most especially in matters of the soul. One almost hears a silent line there at the end to \"choose wisely.\"

Last Bet
Kurt Philip Behm said:

I had the first \'sand-cast\' CB-750 in late 1969. I kitted it out with
Paul Dunstall racing equipment (Fairing, Rear Sets, 4 into 2 exhaust)

I still have it, and it\'s in the back of the garage. I keep telling myself
I\'m going to restore it. It\'s just comforting to know that its still there.

That bike was with me for college, graduate school, and before marriage
and kids. The memories are still vivid.

Thanks, Fred

Kurt

Kurt, never thought of death as a gamble, more of rigged game with a pre-determined outcome.

Sad piece of writing so well expressed - even though, like Fred, in my case love would be the reflection I see.

One thing about mirrors I\'m always curious of, is who\'s story is reflected back for us to see? The one we expect to see, or the one we want to see. Great poem.
