Door Of Faith.
Bella Shepard said:

To find peace and comfort in your faith, no matter what that may be, is a wonderful gift. I can truly relate to the sentiment of your poem because I came to the same conclusion 20 years ago, and found amazing peace and acceptance in my life. A wonderful poem of self reflection dear friend, I\'m so glad that you\'ve found the belief that is truly yours.

(which \'God\'?
so many to choose from
lol)
but in all seriousness
faith is a powerful tool in life
if we, but use it for ourselves
instead of being used, by it
to enrich other\'s, pockets...
(an empowering message, dear Poet
so many may find comfort in these words)

Meanwhile - being daft - I didn\'t have much luck. If I believed in luck, that is - which I don\'t!
Erm, it\'s just that \'When one door opens, another one slams in my face\'. Doh! lol.
And why they say \'If at first you don\'t succeed - give up. No point wasting time in not succeeding!\'

As I read this poem, listening to the recording, I\'m swaying, toes tapping, having a lovely time. I can see you love it so much. I love big band and you\'ve given me a very musical start to my day.

Great sound. I was lucky enough to do a support for Syd Lawrence orchestra back in 70\'s and it really brings home to you the emotion and lift of a big horn section. Kids dunno what theyre missing.

Wisdom is life\'s teaching for those who become wise enough to learn.

Confusious he say \'great men are seen before many, wise men are seldom seen\'.

Yep, true. People have knowledge that I can sing (supposedly), so they have wisdom not to experience it! They run away, or banish me to the hills. heehee.

Ruined By Heat.
Bella Shepard said:

This is so relatable. I went through a very hot summer in the last few months of pregnancy with my first child, and no air conditioning. I remember getting up in the middle of the night and going out on the front porch to catch a breeze and be able to breath. Nature can be kind. I don\'t know though if I should thank you for reminding me. lol

Me and you both mate. I have reversed my days/nights many times just to enjoy the cooler downstairs temperatures and snooze in the arid daytime bed.

That’s it - get it out there before I go;
So I argue - someone else needs to know.
There is no good keeping it to my self,
Sustain knowledge out there, not on the shelf.

Good for you, Andy - keep up the good work.

L. B. Mek said:

ohhhh, I like that image
\'the library that has become us\'
yes, indeed
destined to take it all with us
(unless we scribble it down, that is
and share it
with a handful or two, maybe then
those coming after us, can inherit
and heed our warnings
so they may steer clear
of those mistakes, we stubbornly
made...)
lol
wise words Andy, a lovely read
thank you! cherished Poet

Phew, an actual book! I saw that strange sight too.
I asked a shop if they had video tapes. They gave a me a look of \'Erm, no, not got any; we weren\'t around in the time of the dinosaurs, as you were\'. Though rather a snooty store.
