It seems to be a trend among youngsters to respect only the knife wielding power of bully boys.
How to repair society..... well look at the things youngsters see on TV.... football heroes allowed to cheat, fouling all the time, feigning injuries, prime ministers accused of dual standards, royalty accused of sex crimes.... on and on and on.... all that needs to change if respect is once again to enter society from the bottom up.
Thought provoking writing Andy. The thought that i will be shown disrespect for being an old fogey keeps me off the street in the cities.
