Where I once lived, friends four doors down fed the birds (\'keats, cockys magpies etc) high quality seed. Birds flocked from all over. My friends were at odds with their neighbours who complained about the noise and the crap they found on their patios.... don\'t let that tale stop you, will you Andy... keep up the good work.

A wonderful nature write Andy. Thinking about our avian friends in winter and ensuring they don’t starve. They have rewarded you with their trust. Much enjoyed as was your posted music. Thank you.

Andy, this poem to me is very metaphoric. It is clearly literal, but behind those images lies a deeper message.. That message seems to be one of acceptance. On this site you seem recognized as one of the most widely read poets in that alone. It seems quite kind that you recognize the rest of us.

I saw a trapped swallow die the other day, still moved by it. The poor thing flew into a large space without any vents or openings. It\'s so good to be able to witness, even by poem, how it could have turned out otherwise.

A fine write and bird-shaped feeder poem Gold. I read of a Goldfinch in a poem - I forget where but probably can be found on Google.

My Dad always listened to the Mitch Miller show, loved Eddy Arnold and Tennessee Williams. Helped start me on loving music in oh so many forms. Thanks for this.

Colorblind I have not the ability to properly appreciate, say, the fall changes. I do find images in clouds, and the power of different landscapes. Nice.

Andy, this poem is a gift this morning. This share from you is truly magnificent. You are a word artist who can capture the natural environment and transfer it into the mind’s eye of your readers. A little Mozart is the icing on the cake.

Lines of a master. Gold this poem presents wonderful lines of free verse with hidden rhyme within. That hidden rhyme in modesty of the author shows his mastery of writing. It presents a beautiful picture placed in beautiful words. I think people have known for a long time Andy, then a masterful poet lies behind that pen.
