We are all on a journey. Hopefully we choose the right pathway, or if not have the wisdom to change direction. You appear to be on a pathway of contentment Andy. May you always be happy.

It is all a matter of mental state, if one is happy where one is then the path that brought them there was the right one. A lovely and deep thought.

There is nothing like sunlight on water. The destruction that a flood can bring can also gift us incredible beauty. Enjoy it while you have it Andy. Have a great Wednesday.

It’s so good to have something this beautiful to come back to. We have hills and streams a nearby drive away that we visit periodically. Thanks for this pleasurable poem.

Floods verses sunshine, as long as everyone is safe, you get to see the bigger version today, I have been reading about all the floods and how the local councillors are doing nothing to help the problem... That seems to be a yearly occurrence now. 🌹

Optimism in full gear and even with water all about swans are seen. Also in ancient Egypt the anual river flooding was a time of festival and new life. In this way I see it as a metaphor for regeneration and new growth. Very nice Andy

Hahaha! Nice one! The first thought was I hoped they’d had the presence of mind to create a clearing with a fire line as high and bright stalks are quite flammable! Oh well… gotta round up the imagination and bring them back to the corral.
