A moral tale - remaining completely rational in difficult circumstances will win the day (or night) ....but will it lead to the return of the tent......?
Thoroughly amused, Andy.

Do you know what I miss, I miss capital radio I literally could sing every song played. And when on the rare occasion I do hear something it brings me immediately home dear Andy. πΉ

Great write Andy. Many times one of my poems comes from me hearing the melody to music that just captures something inside me and I feel challenged to try to find out what it is. ππ

Poetry a close kin to music in that it has meter and evokes emotion as well. No wonder that you write as well. Music has a special place in my heart as well and I find myself composing poetry while listening to music.

Yes Andy - I have absolutely no doubt about that at all. But what comes next? Breakfast with a big glass of Laphroaig and then the poem composition - or do you let the Laphroaig mature a little longer and do the poem first.......?

I didn\'t listen to a lot of Jazz music. My first introduction to music was between the late 50s to the early 60s. The Beatles being the bulk of that. But I do remember and hold dear the music my parents listened to of the big band era in the 40s. I\'m not sure how much Jazz my parents listened to, they probably did. Excellent write Andy. πππΌπΆπ΅πΆ

My love of jazz came from my parents. I often went to Ronnie Scottβs with my Dad as a young woman and then followed on all night jazz sessions, finishing with breakfast, Barber, Bilk, Peterson Melly and Ball were household names. You should have seen my parents jive. It was a treat. Thank you for your jazz history and bringing lovely memories back this morning Andy. And I listened to the jazz too. Have a beautiful day.
