The Night
Cheeky Missy said:
Superbly rendered with a subtle, yet painfully haunting poignancy which half culls tears for the charming boy whose soul none comforted. Thank you so very much for sharing.

This poem goes full cycle and as day goes to night so life goes to death. Fear is a life long thing for some that wish not to loose something. A lovely write

a relatable read, thanks for sharing
(maybe, we need only realise
\'it\'s okay: to not - be ok\'
then, afford that mirror reflection
a small merciful smile
as your poetry, wisely suggests
and let that
be our anchor, to fall back upon
when the sea\'s
start getting rough, yet again
when we arrive
at those brief, still waters of relief
we find a new anchor
add to our survivor\'s fight, armoury
one anchor, at a time
we forge our unbreakable, spine
fly our flag, high
on that mast of self-excavated
worth! and
in each daybreaks, Aurora success
hope for the best)

Self loathing ministers from the pit.
We are all made in God\'s image
That\'s no shit
From the depths of despair
We all can grow
To take our inheritance
At the foot of the throne.

Warmth Amongst The Stars
L. B. Mek said:
we never know, and we assume too much
in our not knowing, ease of hypothetical
and we intrust in fate, too little
when it was fate
that gave us existence
in the first place..
so yeah, we can\'t be sure
but we can hope
and cope, as best we can
if that means keeping close
that which we\'ve lost
from material, reality
then so be it
its all meaningful, in this our only promised
journey..
thanks for sharing
a tender touch, to your subtle pen
and I relate to that unspoken
longing and pain
stay Strong!

Self Reflection
sylviasearcher said:
I hope that writing this provided some catharsis.
I could feel a push and pull between wanting to believe and hope and apathy and self loathing.
I hope you have moments when you can keep hold of hope 🌟

The effect of the ramen must be very strong, it stir up such a romantic yet sad poem. You could work a bit more on the last stanza, especially the last two sentences. Over all, a nice piece.

Very interesting....I understand you in many ways...We have to see the opposite of things in order to appreciate them correctly. Light & Darkness are equal and you cannot have anything good without respecting the fact that it may not last forever....Nice job
