EARTHS EPITAPH
BRIAN & ANGELA said:
Thank you DAVID for a stark reminder of the \"Rape of Planet Earth\" by ignorami ! The Earth\'s complex mineral cycles (Water ~ Carbon ~ Nitrogen ~ Oxygen etc) need to be kept in equilibrium for the EARTH to be a LIVING PLANET ! With increased CO2 and other pollutants the Earth is becoming uninhabitable and there is NOWHERE ELSE to go ! Venus is too hot and Mars too cold ! It\'s not just a case of \"Prepare to Cry\" ~ it\'s \"Prepare to Die\" ! I will be 90 in 2073 and hope to still be alive but GOD ALONE knows how things will be then ! It\' not too late to act ~ but almost ! Thanks for an Elegant Poem (rhyming couplets) which carries a salutary warning. BRIAN Please check my Poems & Fusions BRIAN.

David i like this. Pure simple enjoyment of being alive and a love of life itself shines out of it. Very refreshing and a thoughtful well put together piece.

Nice first write. Among all that makes us full of cynicism are bright little points of beauty; all the world\'s hate has yet to extinguish them.
