A Green Thumb
Michael Edwards said:

Enjoyed the read.

I had a green thumb yesterday
I hit it with a hammer
now it\'s turning purple grey
and it\'s lost its verdant glamour.

I was flying along with each line W.C. - - I like the way you give duo meaning to the actual flight we all must take. Thanks for sharing the importance of smoothing the way before we get too high.

Beautiful. Those magic pictures of childhood which is all too quickly passed. You capture the essence of this vividly here.
I recall my sons pictures with a smile today. Thank you for that.

To Take The Steps

Our daughter has been there and is just coming up to her second year alcohol free. She often talks to me of the 12 steps and how very important the first step is.

that is wonderful, your higher power at your side. I also joined AA when I was younger. for about 3 months. I left though, and do not regret it. it may seem doubtful to you and some of the others in the group. but I managed. lots of times it was death warmed over, as I was at 2, 30 packs a week for about 15 years. there were lots of years of complete sobriety. but I guess ill always be a loner. now I have a six pack every Tuesday, and 2 six packs every Friday to take me through the weekend. with or without this. I am in paradise. without an excuse.

peace be with you.

Love the poem wc - and love the little greenhouse - so doable for those of us who can\'t have great glass ones. Question - placed outside correct? If so, could it keep plants alive in winter?

The scars within which none see. Cleverly concealed yet weeping regret and remorse continually moulding our personna, often holding us back. Fears hovver, opportunities avoided. Futures marred.
