May be insomnia. Although I don\'t personally deal with it, it takes me a while before I actually fall asleep so I just stay with an active mind for like an hour or two before entering the subconscious state. During that period my muse tends to pull my ear and beckons me to write. Relatable.

When the mind will not rest and sleepless hours torment... what better way to rest the mind than unloading into poetry... works for me.

THough I wish you better nights sleeping, it is good to see you writing again 🌻

Or even dwelling on yesterday is equally pointless, I suppose.
We do it though, at times - live moments of \'yesterday\' or \'tomorrow\' in the \'here and now of today\'.

Your words brought back wonderful memories of family picnics with my very young son and daughter, wife and dog in a beautiful part of Gloucestershire which I still visit to this day.

I feel beyond delighted to FINALLY coincide my activeness on MPS to one of your posts. This one is glorious. I actually wasn\'t aware of this Italian celebration. However, thanks to your poem, I\'ve done some research about it now. I love this prolongation of the happy atmosphere following the day of Easter. I wish I were there with you. Wonderfully done.

A Challenging See-Saw
Rocky Lagou said:

And I\'m here to fulfill my promise dear Laura, this is art! I love this beautiful analogy of a see-saw as life. That line \"Embracing the ups / Frees me from the downs\" is actually so sincere and heart-touching. When we welcome the positivitey of life, the darkness seems to steer clear from our sights. This is such an impassioned poem of optimism and I love the way you weaved it! (I knew you had a talent!)
